Some students may wish to create an avatar instead of using a photo to identify themselves. There is quite a range of avatars to be found on the internet. I have just found this one - Clay Yourself.

Avatars can be used as a starter for writing with students creating characters, plots and settings.
Be sure to check out avatar sites to ensure they are suitable for your students. Some are age appropriate.
